Today I spent the snowy, rainy, slushy, and icy day by myself at RCS. It is amazing how quiet the halls are. The place seems so dark and dreary just waiting for Thursday, waiting patiently for the arrival of the students, parents, and staff to return. To my own surprise I spent much of the day organizing and preparing for the MCAS tests. Most of the stuff i never get to because i wld rather be with all of you! I just could not help but think about all the new friends I have made here at RCS. I am so lucky to be able to share you readings, your writings, your wonderful artwork, watch you all in gym, see your reactions when you get to a great part in the book and then you have to wait until the next day to hear the result, listen to you tell each other good morning, concentrate so hard to figure out a problem, share an earbud with a friend sitting next to you, and smile so amazingly because you have done something that seemed impossible a few moments ago. Thanks! here are a few more pictures that a random since I became Principal of RCS!!! Enjoy.
I would like to personally thank all the parents, teachers, and staff that went out of their way to give an hour of their time to support RCS. We had a great showing tonight and lots of new faces and ideas made the time really worthwhile.

Today I had the pleasure of eating lunch with three awesome students from grade 3. They had asked me to eat lunch before vacation with them, so I don’t know about them, but I couldn’t wait. I sat down assuring they would be able to share income wonderful vacation conversation. We chatted about books they had read over vacation, places they had traveled, sleepovers they went to, and how Hannah spent her entire vacation being sick. These kids are great and it is my pleasure to be able to spend the time getting to know them. Thanks for asking me for lunch can’t wait to do it again.
