I don’t know about you, but I cannot wait for the buses to coming rolling up the driveway and see all the RCS students. I can’t wait to hear your adventures, the awesome books you read, and enjoy YOU being back at our school.
I had a very busy summer and its been really fun reconnecting with my family. I was able to spend the time with my daughter to help her ride her new bike. I watched my son take on his captain adventure role and jump off rocks into Lake George. I was able to walk a quarter mile through sandbars and pick up crabs and shells in numerous places on the easy coast with my daughter Maggie. My family celebrated the Fourth of July in Ticonderoga, NY as I have for 40 years. We flew to Boca Grande, Florida to spend a week on the ocean with my wife’s family. I read a lot of books to my kids and myself. We spent many weekends on the shores of Lake George at the family lake house. We ventured on the Mini-Ha-Ha and visited Fort Ticonderoga. We swam in the islands and picnicked on the boat! We traveled to the Cape and reconnected with some of my wife’s family. The kids built sand castles, played mini- golf, and went to numerous cape cod baseball games. Rosie even prepared a seafood dinner with her uncle. Wow we had a great time.
With all that my family did I still could not stop thinking about each and everyone of you and what I could do to make a good school great! I have lots in store for you this year to take that step forward.
Enjoy your last few days!
