As the Principal of the Royalston Community School, I am very fortunate to be able to have students want to showcase their skills to me. It may be the best part of being a principal to be there on the first day a student learns to read or develops the confidence to share their reading for the first time out loud and in many cases I am the one chosen. Today I was able to read with students in various grade levels. Two wonderful readers in kindergarten came down and shared their reading of a book they were only given earlier in the day and with practice they were confident to share with me. Later in the day I sat with a group of 6 students in grade 5 as they read and shared their thoughts while reading. Great job Emma, Maddy, Owen, Cassidy, Cathryn, Conner, and Katrina!
