This week was very busy for the students at RCS along with some delicious treats, a new school basketball hoop, 10 new iPads donated from the Royalston Academy and presented to RCS from Mrs. Deacon and her granddaughter Maddie, and most importantly a visit from an army soldier Ms. Girard. ….. Enjoy
Educreations will allow RCS students to present material they learned in class and showcase their knowledge to peers. Today I began the journey with Brian who is a very strong 5th grade math student. I asked him to help me prepare an educreation focusing on multiplying decimals so that other students could go home and use his strategy to remember what they did in class. He did an awesome job! multiplying decimals
Another phenomenal week of learning at RCS. The students have been engaged in so many great lessons. Students calculating a graph on the projected population 30 years from now. A girl in grade 3 created an iMovie. Kindergarteners reading one of my favorite authors. Writing a story in grade 4 and solving parts if speech fraction problems in grade 5. Working with mentor sentences in grade 2 and creating masks and getting some intense exercise with Mr. Webster. What a week. Can’t wait to see what’s in store for week 11. …. Enjoy
